Picnic Table Talk: Alphabet

Welcome! New to ABC and 123?
Please check out our FAQ in the left sidebar.

Welcome to week two of Picnic Table Talk!

I, the list making Katie, love alphabet books. I have been collecting them for many years. There are so many creative ways to present the letters of the alphabet and it is fun to see the variety. So, it only seemed natural for me to share a list of alphabet books from A-Z to kick off today's picnic table topic. For some letters it was very difficult to just choose one!

anyway I couldn't find Mr Linky so here is my link:

  2. I made a mistake on my first entry. I forgot to change it to the right blog post. Sorry!

  4. Wonderful list, including several we haven't heard of before that we'll enjoy checking out!

  5. I'm trying to link my blog, but Mr. Linky isn't working for me. Yikes! I'll try again later, but here is my link just in case....

Though I had plenty of notice, this has been a busy week...I almost didn't get this done today!

  9. Hmmm... something went wrong with Mr. Linky... Can you fix my link - it picked up one I used last week on someone else's sight!

Here is the correct link to my book review -…alphabet-books/

    Great site by the way!

  10. I have a suggestion...when we link up should we include our child(ren)'s age in our post if when we include an activity/game, though it may not be needed for book lists? Just a thought. :)

  11. Sorry, I didn't do a new post mentioning ABC and 123's summer picnic, I just linked to an old alphabet post I had. I hope that's okay. I'm just not finding the time I used to have to sit at the computer nowadays!

  12. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's great ideas. I will be starting letters with my oldest this summer. I'll be taking notes!

  13. I like the ABC list. Is nice to have a list of different ABC books to look.

This week I'm not going to participate because I'm starting ABC letters with my girls and I don't have any pictures to post. I just use my imagination with my girls. So, until next week.

I'm going to check the other blogs and their nice ideas.

  14. Lots of good ideas today, and now I'm going to have tons of book requests at the library.
I just edited my post to add a Thomas the Train ABC list. ;)
